To whom it may concern:
I regret to announce that the Grand Panjandrum passed away on 25 September 2022. He had been confined to bed for several years previously as a result of a wasting disease and had been sadly unable to fulfill his normal functions, a matter which caused him much distress. I know that his many admirers will join me in hoping that he is now enjoying a well earned sojourn in whichever department of Eternity he now resides.
